Early Morning

Written by Alice

Today Terry got up at 4:30 am. Troy and I woke to an abrupt slam as Terry kicked his bedroom door in rapped succession. After a few minutes of debate as to whether we should get Terry and bring him to bed with us or not I got up and took Terry potty and sent him off to our bed.

This move let up listen to frequent "Ut Oh's" as the minutes on the digital clock changed. After an hour of that, and a few "momma up" and even a "get up". I did at 6:15 am, after he pinched me hard enough on my upper arm to leave an inch long & 1/4 inch wide bruise. We didn't go where he wanted though. I took him off to his room where we laid down till a few minutes after 7am.

Once I told Terry he could get up, he bounded down the stairs to the computer. I fixed him scrambled eggs for breakfast and argued with him to get his undies on while he tried to ignore me and pay Age of Empires. I eventually won and a half dressed Terry bounced between his food at the table and the computer while I finished up breakfast for everyone else.

(Apparently Cassie got so thrown off her morning ritual, by my fixing a hot breakfast that she headed off to school with her lunch bag - but no lunch!)

A dressed and medicated little guy headed to the bus in a fairly good mood, given the hour he got up. Troy and I waited to here he'd had a melt down at school - amazingly enough, only one issue today, and otherwise it appears that it went pretty well.

Rough Evening

Written by Administrator
Don't know what occurred tonight, but our little mister was having a wonderful evening playing with dad on the playstation & apparently didn't like how something in the game went... a melt down ensued.

It ended with Terry heading off to bed. The best I can guess is too much excitement and his being tired.

I got him ready for bed, tucked him in. He always goes to bed & kisses me good night, tells me to leave, then gets mad that I do. Thankfully, he's gone to sleep & hopefully we have good night and a better tomorrow.

What a Helper

Today Terry helped out in the kitchen. We made Cinnamon Rolls from scratch. Terry folded and kneaded out the dough and helped mix together the cinnamon filling while the dough rested. After we had the cinnamon sugar mixed he had the rolling pin and rolled out the dough to 1/4 inch thick. With some help from mom he got the cinnamon spread on the dough, rolled up and cut into rolls.

It was a hard 45 minutes waiting for the rolls to rise up before baking, but boy was it worth it. Terry ate two and then took a nice hour long nap.

He's up again now... playing x-box. Boy does he love x-box and Webkins World.
